This review is based solely on service as we decided to ultimately eat somewhere else.
We just came from the beach, the waitress looked at all of us, asked, "3?" And we replied yes. She then said we could SHARE a table with a lady in a wheelchair.... I have NEVER been offered to share a table with someone at a restaurant. Mind you, this is obviously not even close to upscale but sharing a table? Uh I think not. So we declined and the waitress said we could wait, then looked at my 9 year old son and said with an attitude, by the way, your son has to have a shirt before we can seat you. I get the no shirt service when it comes to a random ass dirty man or woman but a 9 year that is literally on his trunks? She was pissed that we made her feel stupid for asking if we could share a table with another person. She didn't say a damn thing about my son needing a shirt when she offered a shared table.
All in all, we went to Taco Surf where the workers were extremely polite and went out of their way for service. Never going back to that hole in the wall crappy service El Burrito Jr again. -

Best shrimp cocktail I have ever had!!!
Mariscos....Modelo...Labor Day weekend .
I had always come here and ordered tacos but today I tried their shrimp cocktail and oh my !! It is delicious!! Topped it off with a bottle of modelo. It did not disappoint. -

Good family owned Mexican restaurant that has a nice environment, friendly staff and good food. Staff is always on it, even when they are busy. If there is a wait then you are right by the beach so feel free to go take a stroll down the wooden pier.
I've had so many things on the menu and they are all great. They even have a taco Tuesday deal. Decent beer selection for a small family owned Mexican restaurant. This place is cash only but they do have an ATM in site.
Some of my favorites on the menu are the bean and cheese burrito, taco burrito, Asada burrito, chicken tostada, chicken quesadilla and their tacos.
This has been one of my go-to spots for sooo long and I'll continue coming back due to the friendly staff, good food and the small town/family owned feel. -

Good spot if you're craving restaurant style Mexican food, but you're not looking to splurge. This place gives huge portions while being super affordable.
We ordered a Super Deluxe Carnitas Wet Burrito and a Jr. Deluxe Carne Asada Wet Burrito. It comes with a side of guacamole and sour cream and if you dine in, you get chips and salsa as well. I'd recommend getting the Jr. Deluxe for lunch or for smaller girls like me. My bf didn't even end up finishing his.
Overall, the food was pretty solid. Came in on a Saturday for lunch and didn't have to wait at all. Definitely would come again.
